Housekeeping -
JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Environmental Services, performs repetitive cleaning and related tasks in maintaining assigned areas of the hospital in a clean, orderly, and attractive condition, especially in corridors, offices, public areas, stairways and specialized tasks in patient rooms.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

1. High school education or GED, preferred.
2. Ability to follow oral and or written instructions.
3. Ability to work around strong cleaning chemicals.
4. Prefer at least 6 months experience within Housekeeping Department within the last two years.
5. Must have the ability to work independently and organize and prioritize several projects.
6. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
7. Must be able to speak the English language in an understandable manner.
8. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
9. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
11. Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Hourly Wage: $8.16 - $8.65 per/hour
