War Memorial Hospital is located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. This Upper Peninsula community is the 3rd oldest city in the United States. With a population of 17,500, Sault Ste. The Sault is within 45 minutes of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron and just 10 minutes from Lake Superior. Lake Superior State University has opened a new Fine Arts Center which offers orchestra, dance and comedy performances along with various speakers. The Agawa Canyon Train tour is a very popular attraction in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The I-500 Snowmobile race is the largest in the United States and takes place in February.
